Electricity Rate

Water base fee $20.76
     -inside City $7.71 per 1000 gallons
     -outside City $8.05 per 1000 gallons                                                                                                                                                 

     -Water annual 2% increase each year

Sewer base fee $6.07
     - plus 58% of your water usage billing amount

Sewer debt fee

     - $42.00 per month

Garbage (twice weekly pickup on Tuesday & Friday; includes recycling and yard waste)
     - residential $26.50
     - commercial no dumpster = $41.50
                       1 dumpster = $71.50
                       2 dumpsters = $143.00
                       3 dumpsters = $214.50

Utility Deposits - All deposits are determined by the two highest usages during the prior 12 months.  The utility deposit must be paid in full before services will be changed into the new customers name.  For a deposit to be returned in full, the customer must have no penalties applied to their account for 12 consecutive months, or if they move away, their final bill must be paid in full.  Please contact City Hall at 319-476-5690 to determine a deposit amount on a specific property.

**All utility payments are due on the 15th of every month.  The bills are commonly sent out between the 24th-26th of every month. **
